ALEXA (she/her)

YOGA EDUCATOR, RYT 200, RPYT-85, 50-HR Yin and Therapeutic Yoga Teacher, Essential Somatics® Movement Teacher in Training

MY MISSION

My primary focus is to create a safe and supportive space where you can slow down and reconnect with yourself. Through intentional movement and embodied awareness, I help students explore the patterns that shape their experiences, both on and off the mat.

Learning to understand how we respond to life's challenges, and cultivating the ability to choose a different response, is one of the most powerful gifts of practice. You'll often hear me say in class that yoga is about learning to listen to and trust yourself. We are practicing becoming our own teachers.

MY CLASS

My classes infuse yoga, somatic practices, Traditional Chinese Medicine, breathwork, and meditation to help you move with greater awareness and freedom. You can expect a thoughtful yet challenging class that emphasizes curiosity over performance and sensation over achievement. Through specific, alignment-based cueing, you’ll also learn how to engage more deeply in the physical postures.

In each class, we'll explore movement as a conversation, learning to notice tension, uncover habitual patterns, and develop a deeper relationship with both body and mind. Students often leave feeling more present, more at ease in their bodies, and more connected to themselves.
