My Mission

To provide an inviting space for every body to consider themselves deeply. Through kinesthetic awareness and bio-mechanical information, I aim to educate, empower and engage my students in their body and lives.

My Class

My class is consistently paced and challenging for both mind + body. In every pose I offer alignment cues and refinements that strategically set you up for success. You can expect to leave with a sense of durability and steadiness.

I am the proud COO of Yoga Mechanics. My focus is on the Marketing/Social Media and Business side of the company. I completed my Level I Teacher Training in 2014 with Omni and Donna. I am a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance but have put teaching on hold to pursue other avenues of entrepreneurship and creativity.

I am continually inspired by life. I find a source of inspiration in everyone. THANK YOU to all who support me and make my life just a bit more fun.

MY MISSION

To consistently provide a place for empowerment and growth: mentally and physically. I strive to challenge my students, while bringing awareness to their bodies with each class. Longevity is the key.

MY CLASS

A guided practice that's inviting for all level practitioners. It's a place to challenge and learn more about yourself throughout the asana's. I pay attention to the alignment of each pose and offer cues for safety to help you towards success.

As the teacher, my desire is to create an atmosphere of learning and growth, where strength, flexibility, and inner and outer balance is born. This opens us up to more possibility, more love, more life, more peace, more laughter, more joy.

My Class

I bring my passion for life, learning, loving and laughing to each class, along with years of teaching and countless hours of study working with the body and mind. It is in this space that my students learn to discover and access their power, courage and endless possibilities on and off the mat.

My Mission

I hope to empower every student with knowledge of the biomechanics of how the body works through principles of alignment and their power to heal in the amazing poses of Yoga.

My Class

The classes I teach are structured to reflect the power of the breath, sequencing, alignment, and action. I strongly emphasize personal experience and self care at all times. My classes have been described as intense with a playful edge.

My mission as a teacher is to provide tools for students to access the power in their bodies and to leverage their bodies to support them in their lives, not just today, but for the rest of their lives.

My Class

I encourage my students to think deeply about themselves and to begin from the premise that they are already whole. My specific cueing allows students to maintain proper alignment and my classes are layered with an action and a theme.

My mission is to bring students into connection with their complexity; to an understanding of both the boundaries and potentials of their bodies.

My Class

My classes are open-level, full body explorations that empower practitioners as they are. I strategically and safely move students across a full range of yoga poses, while weaving thematic contemplation throughout.

I provide my students with an opportunity to engage with their own strengths and limitations through alignment-based poses and thoughtful considerations. I believe that by deepening our understanding of the body, we can create a more conscious and sustainable yoga practice.

I offer alignment cues and refinements throughout the class, which makes the poses approachable and challenging. This provides each student with an opportunity to feel empowered through movement and learn something new in every class.

MY CLASS

I bring to class a deep knowledge of biomechanics and connective tissue flow. Many study hours and several teacher training's with the worlds greatest yoga teachers, who are seasoned with interesting rich life experiences and dipped in philosophy with a smile.

Yoga Educator, RYT 200, Yoga Tune Up®

After several years in the financial industry in New York City, Tisha found yoga as a means of finding calm and relieving stress in her challenging work life.  When she realized that through yoga, she could strengthen her body and calm her mind, she found herself increasingly drawn to her practice and became inspired to share this practice with others.  Through a continuous study of movement and the human body, her teaching is strongly based on anatomy and alignment. Tisha aims to teach poses with a purpose, and to inspire her students to play creatively in their own bodies! 

Tisha is a certified Yoga Tune Up® instructor and RYT-200HR yoga teacher through YogaWorks leading group classes, workshops, and private sessions.  Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls are often incorporated in her classes to provide a self-guided tissue massage that relieves pain, mobilizes and rejuvenates stiff joints, generates circulation and improves posture while bringing the body back into balance.

MY MISSION

I would like every participant regardless of present level of flexibility to experience the well-being that yoga provides by helping people to connect with their bodies more closely and strengthen them as well.

MY CLASS

This is a beginner level class for persons with some flexibility challenges. Participants will discover their current level of ability and learn to increase their strength, mobility and stability through a variety of adaptations.
